We had been utilising a combination of tools to manage our projects, XL Spreadsheets, Word Documents, MS Teams messaging, and emails. This was time consuming, with constant updates and duplication of work and as our company expanded, became unmanageable.
We started to look around at the Project Management tools available, but none met our requirements and we did not have the time or expertise to develop a bespoke system.
Then we met George, who has been an absolute dream to work with and we now have the bespoke, streamlined, efficient, project management tool we desired. Case Manager has been developed to ensure we have a ‘One Stop Shop’ tailored to ensure each team member has access to the areas they require, notifications at key stages, with management overview in one place.
George’s support throughout the development and introduction of this new system has been second to none and George continues to assist in anyway he can as, one month down the line, and as we work through our process, we find small areas for improvement.

Following his successful work supporting colleagues in other departments, we engaged George to consult on improvements to our Teams Lists used for managing event bookings and payments.
George took the time to understand our requirements and the challenges we were facing and quickly proposed a solution that not only addressed the requested enhancements but also automated many tasks that had previously been completed manually.
Throughout the short development period, George kept us regularly informed of progress, and we continued to discuss additional requirements as they emerged. He later met with us to demonstrate the system, walking us through a range of scenarios that quickly and effectively trained us in its operation.
Nothing was too much trouble for George, and we are delighted with the end product from which we are already reaping significant benefits.
To manage our project we were using spreadsheets and colour coding which worked well enough but was a little clunky, I had to manually send reminders to team to update and had trouble viewing if more than one person was using it at the same time.
Bringing the system onto a Microsoft Planner has helped me to manage the whole process much more smoothy:
a) automatically send out reminders for team to check and update their areas
b) automatically send teams their individual tasks and due dates
c) easily update to add / edit tasks as well as assign team members to tasks.
I’m also able at a glance to see where jobs are up to and if there are team members behind (or ahead) on certain areas. It helps to build accountability and all of us are “singing from the same hymn sheet”.
It has been exceptionally helpful with team working remotely, as there are fewer opportunities to touch base in an office, this has helped to keep accountability with those who I am not directly line managing but helps us all keep to deadlines.
George has been excellent to work with, not only did he understand the project, he was able to suggest ways in which we could improve what and how we were working with one another digitally.
